It is hard to believe it has nearly been one year since I did a 30 day fast.
I want to make this an annual journey for myself and this time I have decided to start a little earlier so I can avoid fighting the temptations of the upcoming holiday season.
My fast starts today - I will attempt to make it 30 days again.
As before, I will only drink water with an occasional black coffee or non-sweetened tea.
I know the first few days will be difficult, but I also know I can do this and keep on track as I did before.
As before, I will keep track of my blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar, and weight loss.
A fun note...I have just taken up fly fishing as of yesterday so I will have something fun to keep my hours occupied when I am not working.
I will keep the exercise to a minimum until the last days of the fast and then I plan to take up running again and now that I am back in Winter Land...there will be snow shoeing and skiing! (if I get my knee fixed...haha)
